Hearts & Minds was born out of the Sohn Hearts & Minds Conference, first held in 2016. The idea was simple but bold: bring together Australia’s leading fund managers to share their best investment ideas on stage. Then, donate the proceeds to medical research.

That spirit of combining investment performance & purpose led to the creation of Hearts & Minds Investments in 2018. Since then, we’ve grown into one of Australia’s Top 30 Corporate Philanthropists, and are on track to donate over $100 million to medical research in our first decade.

Why Refresh?

As we enter our next chapter, we wanted a brand that honours where we’ve come from and reflects where we’re going.

At the heart of this refreshed identity is the ampersand, a simple, powerful symbol of our promise: performance & purpose.

It’s a reminder of what’s possible when investment & philanthropy come together.

What’s Ahead

We’re excited to introduce this bolder expression of our ambition and purpose with you. Over the coming months, you’ll see our refreshed brand come to life across our website and communications.

Our Thanks

Hearts & Minds exists because of you: our investors, supporters and partners who’ve shared their time, expertise, networks and capital along the way. Together, we’ve built something extraordinary - and this is just the beginning.
